Spartan Wall Platter, 4 Kothon Mugs and 5 Books: "Gates of Fire" and "The Warrior Ethos"

I (Joel Cherrico here) created this platter after reading "Gates of Fire." I wanted the interior of the platter to reference the interior of a Spartan shield, as described by Steven: coved in blood, spit, piss, shit and dirt. My aesthetics subdue these gory details, but I want them to reference the reality of our human history. 

The platter back is blood red, and the edge is 24 karat gold gilding. This represents the precious line a Spartan warrior faced between the inside and outside of his shield; outside was death and glory, while inside was survival and strife.

4 "kothon" mugs included, each with book, "The Warrior Ethos" autographed by Steven Pressfield. Also included is one book, "Gates of Fire" autographed, and it is the exact copy from the photo above, that Steven gave me for this.
